About Penn Tree Services

Penn Tree Services is based in Penn, Buckinghamshire and was established by Tom Hunnings in 1996. We are a friendly team of fully trained and motivated tree surgeons, offering a wide selection of high quality tree maintenance and removal services, which is carried out to the exacting standards of BS3998. All areas of our work are fully insured for public liability up to £5 million.

We have built a reputation on high quality workmanship and client satisfaction and indeed we enjoy a great deal of repeat business. Health and safety is of paramount importance to us, and therefore a detailed site assessment is carried out prior to commencing any job in order to prevent the risk of any unnecessary accidents and damage to property. All our operational staff are trained and equipped with personal protective clothing including chain saw boots and trousers along with ear and eye defenders whilst operating machinery so adhering to Health and Safety Regulations.

We are fully versed on matters concerning tree preservation orders and conservation areas and are deeply committed to the environment, recycling 100% of the green waste we create. The thicker branches can be cut into logs for firewood, whilst the thinner branches, twigs and leaves are passed through our wood chipper so creating wood chip which can then be used for mulch. Both are always available free of charge and we are happy to cut the logs to whatever size you require and leave them where you want them.

Although we are based in Buckinghamshire, we cover a wide area and have operated in the surrounding counties and as far as Devon. Our clients include Local Authorities, Commercial Property companies, Private Estates, and, of course, many private individuals.
